Clear skin breakfast smoothie

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We’ve all heard this, but when you have acne, it’s even more important. Skipping breakfast can lead to hormone dysregulation, which is a leading contributor to acne. This clear skin breakfast smoothie will not only give your body the nutrients it needs to clear your skin, but will also balance your hormones naturally.


  • 1 celery stalk

  • 1 Persian cucumber or 2 inches of an English cucumber

  • 1 pear and/or apple

  • 1 handful of mixed leafy greens (aim for spinach, kale, chard, etc.)

  • A few chunks of frozen mango or pineapple

  • Filtered water

Optional ingredients to make your smoothie extra delicious:

  • Fresh ginger (highly recommend!)

  • Cayenne pepper

  • Lemon and/or lime juice

  • Basil

  • Parsley

  • Mint

  • Kiwi

Instructions: Add all your ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Add a few ice cubes and enjoy with a straw.
